ANASTASIA DAVILA | Paralegal
Anastasia joined The Law Office of Cherika Edwards in 2020 as a legal assistant and was shortly thereafter promoted as a paralegal. She is a dedicated paralegal with experience in managing and supporting the attorney with caseloads. Her skills include managing client deadlines, communication among parties, document preparation and document filing in state court.
Graduating from San Jacinto Community College with an Associates Degree in Life Sciences. Anastasia decided to further her education in Paralegal Studies and received her Paralegal Certification from the University of Houston Downtown.
She is a proud affiliate and sweetheart of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity and a member of the Houston Paralegal Alumni Association. She enjoys quality time with her beautiful children Londynn and Jai Rose, vacationing with family and friends and keeping up with current events.
JULES PERRODIN | LEGAL ASSISTANT
Jules joined The Law Office of Cherika Edwards in 2023 as a legal assistant/case manager for Personal Injury cases. He possesses a strong commitment as a personal injury case manager, coupled with a wealth of experience in efficiently handling and assisting the attorney with her caseloads. Jules prioritizes empathizing with clients, enabling him to gain a genuine understanding of their wants and needs in the case.
Jules, a Houston native, continued his education at Southern University and A&M College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
He has a profound love for learning and embracing new experiences in life, cherishing moments spent with family and friends, exploring
picturesque destinations, and engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
KIERA HART | HR Manager
Kiera Hart joined the law firm in 2021 as our HR Manager. Kiera has a background of assisting small businesses from just the start of an idea to overseeing the full operations of the businesses. She is also highly experienced in customer service and healthcare leadership.
Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Kiera pursued her Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston. She then furthered her education with obtaining her Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston Downtown.
Kiera continues her activism with her Alma Mater as she currently serves as the University of Houston Black Alumni Association’s President. She is quiet the social butterfly but loves spending time with family, friends and colleagues.
EJO DE GUZMAN | Marketing Assistant
Ejo works as a virtual assistant. She is dedicated, truthful, and hardworking in what she does. She enjoys assisting in delivering high-quality services to clients, passionate in designing and creating marketing content and materials for the firm using various platforms.
Ejo is from the Philippines. She earned a bachelor's degree in international travel and tourism management from the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Manila while making the dean's list and excelling academically.
For the past ten years, she has worked for one of the leading airlines in the country, and she is qualified to fly for the company on any of its planes to any of its destinations.
She loves learning and experiencing new things, conducting research, visiting scenic locations, and meeting new people from different walks of life. She is a foodie with a soft spot for dogs.
